So good for dry skin

I used this because the lotion by Hada Labo was unavailable and I really really liked it. I used it every morning with B Complex and my skin has never been better. Once it ran out (approx 3 months) I tried the Hada Labo lotion this time and while I do like that, I think I will go back to this gel next time.

Heavenly Gel

Wow. This gel feels like heaven on the skin. It applies so easily, it's soft and nourishing and doesn't leave behind a sticky residue. The soft subtle smell leaves the face feeling incredibly fresh. I have been using this morning and night. It's a great gel to use before applying makeup, I use double wear foundation and it looks flawless. At night I put a little extra on and feel replenished from the day before drifting off to sleep. I'm so glad I can purchase it from here. I highly recommend this product. It's affordable and luxurious - what a combination!

Heaven on your face

I tend to use this in the morning, but have also used it as a night cream. Rich and gorgeous on the skin. Absorbs really well with other serums and sits fine under makeup. Would recommend without a doubt (even oily gals).

Soft skin

Leaves skin feeling moisturized and helped with appearance. It feels very thick, which is good in winter. Now it's warming up, can start to feel the sweat come through before it's properly soaked in.

Game changer

I'm currently on my third tub of this moisturizer and always have a backup ready to go - this stuff is excellent. It's lightweight and layers well with other products / SPF / makeup, gives your skin a gorgeous glow and has a beautiful plumping effect. I have a drier skin type and only use it in the mornings, opting for a thicker night cream before bed, but I think oilier skin types would find this moisturizer suitable for both day and night (or dry skin too - personal preference). I've recommended this to all of my friends and will continue to do so, as it suits so many concerns and does a fantastic job.

Soooo light but very juicy

Love this moisturizer. I tried this ages ago and happy it is in AU now. I have sensitive skin and need something hydrating not greasy though.

Good for acne-prone but sensitive skin

This hydrates my skin really well without giving me breakouts or redness. Great for acne-prone skin that still needs some hydration, as I find other moisturizers for acne leave me feeling some tightness in my skin which this doesn't do.

Does what it says

This is a lovely, emollient gel that hydrates and plumps as it says. Some gels can dry out, but skin stays moist to the touch with this. Price point is great as well!

FA Safe Classic now readily available

This is the US/International version of Hada Labo's cult fave Koi-Gokujyun Perfect Gel (Gold tub one sold in Japan). The main difference is the hydroxyethyl urea is the 2nd ingredient in the Plumping Gel and 3rd in the Perfect Gel. Also jar looks nicer BUT you only get half the amount. Both are Fungal Acne safe, plumping, hydrating, similar consistency. Great for minimal skincare fans because it feels like an all in one. If you can't get the Japanese one, this is still absolutely worth it!

Not as great as I hoped

I usually use Cerave moisturizing lotion which absorbs very fast. This Hada Labo gel did not. It's a bit sticky but the biggest issue is that it leaves behind a LOT of shine. I tend to get oily and sweaty in the hotter months so this didn't help. I think this product is more suitable for dry skin so am going to save what's remaining for winter.

I think if you have oily skin or even combination skin I would avoid this as it is very, what is a nice word for slimy, ok unctuous cream. Either way, it would be way too thick for many skin types. Great for extremely dry skin or skin in harsh weather conditions as this is definitely a thick gooey hydrating cream. It also does not seem to absorb that well which is probably why I will not be repurchasing...

Not as great as expected

Not as great as expected. It's very sticky, it takes a while to dry out. Not ideal before makeup, and I haven't noticed any difference. I wouldn't buy again.

I usually use Aspect Physiostat9 but decided to give this a go and to try and save a bit of money. I'm a bit undecided on this. I found it didn't really absorb into my skin well and just kind of sat there on top of it, felt a bit sticky. I have mature skin (40's) combination skin. For me, it just wasn't great for my skin. I may finish it off and go back to my usual.
